alright, well since you all seem incapable of commenting i have something else to talk about: JAMES MORRISON. i have just bought his new CD (in fact someone actually got it for me over two weeks ago but, come on, did you need the facts?) and i am in love with it! i was very disappointed to see that on blogger.com only people from britain seem to list him under their favorite music. AMERICANS, GET EDUCATED! we should not all listen to just rap and hip hop. don't get me wrong, i love me some lil wayne myself! (well who doesn't?) but i try to expand my genres of music. recently a friend of mine has got me hooked on muse. they are awesome! i definitely recommend them! anyhow, if you don't know james morrison he is a british pop/rock/soul singer who is amazing! he got the whooping cough at age 2 and has the most amazing voice because of it! if you are afraid of listening to anyone from another country BESIDES america, let me peak your interest: there is a duet on the album between him and nelly furtado called "broken strings." oh my god, totally best song ever, and the lyrics are so true! he also has a previous album "undiscovered" (the US version) which has lots of songs for people who are not willing to venture into new territories. some songs i recommend from undiscovered:
-wonderful world (it was on the hills so i'm sure you've heard it)
-the pieces don't fit anymore (slow ballad, not frendly for people who only listen to pop)
-one last chance
-undiscovered
^those are four songs EVERYONE should love! i love the whole album but start with those. i guarantee they'll be amazing. i hope everyone reads this and if i introduced you to james morrison leave me a comment.
